On Tyranny.

This speech was given on the street of Athens to anybody who would listen.

Listen O citizens for I teach truth today, of the irreducible. That which we can only name for no word touches upon it. The ineffable self, the polychromatic self. We do wrong to the self O citizens. For the self seeks, it has its goals, but we judge the self. We judge the self for seeking what it yearns, for expressing what it is. We tyrannize the self. You tyrannize my self. We are the tyrants who say "Thou shalt!" We are the tyrants who say "You are this or that."

Listen O citizens, shall we not then shatter these chains? The self cries not for categories, nor morality, nor beliefs, nor government! The self cries for freedom, unrestricted expression of the will. Yet we build prisons from words, from culture, from fear. Do not shrink from the vastness of what you are. Do not fear the untamed. Will you dam the river of your self or will you let it flow with abandon?
